This course focuses mainly on computer networking from the basic ground level so to prepare you or your organization to build strong foundation root for successfully deploying and managing small home – office networking as well as it opens the door with a better understanding to have more advance backbone / server networking infrastructure courses like – Cisco Certified Network Associate, Centralized Networking with Windows Platform (Server 2003 / 2008)

- Windows Server 2003 Installation, Administration and Management
- Concept of Users, Groups & applying related permission
- Implementation of Windows File Server on Server 2003 Platform
- Concept of print server & Printer sharing across the network
- Internet Information Services (IIS) configuration – FTP / HTTP server setup | FTP access through CLI operation – Uploading / Downloading files
- ADSL 2+ router configuration – PPPOE mode for internet sharing across LAN
- Managing & Updating critical software packages for smooth internet access by clients
- E-mail client (Outlook Express) configuration setup – POP3 / SMTP
- Understanding Firewall | Hardware firewall vs. Software firewall | Software firewall configuration setup on XP / Vista
- Introduction to Wireless LAN (WLAN) & Radio Frequency Fundamentals
